Self Catering / Local Restaurants & Cafes

Our villas are set up for self catering with amazing kitchen facilities. But on those days you do not want to cook we offer onsite catering and have wonderful local cafes and restaurants nearby.

LOCAL RESTAURANTS & CAFES

Mangōnui 

is about 17 minute drive and has a few wonderful places:

  • Jesse’s on the Waterfront is our special lunch place. The view matched with great food and service.  

  • The Thai is so fresh and delicious.

  • Little Kitchen Cafe does some great seafood dishes  

Coopers Beach

  • a few minutes past Mangōnui is Coopers Beach and they have at least 3 different food trucks with Turkish, Malaysian and Pacific Islander foods.

Kaeo

  • 14 minutes away and they have a good Indian Restaurant and a fast-food diner on the edge of town.

Whangaroa 

  • 14 minutes away and has a cute little Fishing club with very tasty fish and chips or burgers. 

Kerikeri 

  • around 40 minutes away and we recommend doing grocery shopping at Kerikeri before heading to the estate.

  • Sovrano Estate is a vineyard with an exceptional Italian restaurant.  

  • Marsden Estate is another vinery with a great chef

  • Green’s Thai is a lovely fresh food and gorgeous restaurant
